Privacy policy

Montalvo LLC, trading as Montalvo Glass, runs this site. We ask for as little as possible — a name and a phone number is enough to call you back about glass.

What we collect

If you use the callback form on our contact page, we receive the name and phone number you type in, the job type you tapped, and any note you chose to add. Nothing else on this site collects personal details, and we do not ask for an email address.

Why we collect it

Only to call you back about the work you asked about, to price the opening and, if you go ahead, to schedule the measure and installation. We do not sell, rent or trade contact details, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work: removed within twelve months.
Completed jobs: kept while our workmanship coverage runs, plus the period our accountant and New York tax rules require.
Written quotes and invoices are stored with our normal business records.

Who else sees it

Nobody, apart from the people who need it to do the job: Harry and the glaziers on your install, our glass fabricator when a panel is cut to your sizes (sizes only, not your details), and our accountant for invoicing. If an insurance claim is involved, we only share what you ask us to share with your insurer or adjuster.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising pixels. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts that service to fetch the typeface. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting.

Your choices

Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless a record has to stay for tax or warranty reasons — in that case we will tell you what stays and why. You can also ask what we hold, or have a mistake corrected.

Security

Enquiries reach us over an encrypted connection and are kept on password-protected devices and accounts. It is a small shop: fewer hands touch your details than at a franchise call centre.

Photographs of work

We photograph finished glazing for our own portfolio. Shots never include your name, address or door number without permission, and we will skip your job entirely if you ask.

Changes to this page

If how we handle enquiries changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be obvious here rather than buried in a revision note.
